Toward God and Good.
At Lewisville, we believe in helping each other take the next steps toward God and Good in our lives. Several times a year we run a series of “Next Steps” classes designed to do just that. They happened during our second service at 11am, and you’re welcome to show up for any or all of them. We run 4 classes on a rotation: “Hello Lewisville”, our newcomer class, “Baptism 101” for those considering baptism, “Lewisville 101”, our membership class, and “Spiritual Gifts 101”, designed to help you discover your spiritual gifts.
“Hello Lewisville” is a class designed to help those who are newer to our church family get to know us a little more - and more importantly, to help us get to know you. It’s a casual and friendly time hosted by our Connections Team. You'll find info about our church, our programs, our staff, and anything else you’d like to know - but mostly we just want the chance for us all to get to know each other. And of course, snacks.
If you’ve reached the point in your faith journey where baptism is the next step for you, Baptism 101 is the class for you. It’s taught via video along with an in-person facilitator, and it will help you explore what baptism is and why we do it. Even if you’re not sure and still have questions, you're welcome to join us.
LEWISVILLE 101 (MEMBERSHIP)
If you’re ready to officially join the family, don’t miss this class! Lewisville 101 is taught via video with an in-person facilitator, and will take you through everything you need to know about becoming a member here at Lewisville. Even if you’re not sure or still have questions, please feel free to sit in and learn along.
SPIRITUAL GIFTS 101
If you have questions about your own gifting, have never taken any steps to discover them, or just aren’t even sure what this whole “spiritual gifts” thing is about, this is the class for you! It’s taught via video with an in-person facilitator, and you’ll learn all about what spiritual gifts are, what they’re for, and even be led through a process to help you discover your own.
