More importantly, we’re so glad a little person in your life was able to join us for Dr. Kookopolous’ Tremendous Time Trek this summer! We hope they had a fabuleristic time – we sure did!
Just for your info, we wanted to pass on the details of all the other exciting stuff going on at Lewisville both through the summer and starting in the fall – and not just for kids…for you grown-ups too!
For Kids This Summer….
Summer Fun Days
Throughout the summer, we’ll be hosting “Summer Fun Days” for kids from K-Grade 5 (entering). Once a week from July 12 to August 14 they’ll be doing all kinds of fun stuff, from “Water Day” to tie-dying to a treasure hunt and even a PJ movie day! For Kids This Fall…
PlayZone (Tuesday Mornings)
Are you a parent or a caregiver of children ages 0-5? Want a great way for you and your kids to have fun, learn and meet new people? Want to know you’re not alone? Play Zone is a playgroup designed for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. Held in a full-sized gymnasium, your kids will meet others their age, enjoy arts and crafts, snacks, stories and all kinds of fun! Meanwhile you can take advantage of a good cup of coffee in the kitchen and chat with other parents and caregivers like you! Speedway (Wednesday Evenings)
KIDS, START YOUR ENGINES! Coming this fall, the hottest kids’ program in town is ready to put the ‘pedal to the metal’ on another great year! Speedway is an exciting, energetic, mid-week program for kids in Kindergarten to Grade 4. From the Pace Lap until the Finish Line it is an hour and a half of non-stop fun, activities and learning. Kids will hear what’s in the Bible in fun and creative ways and spend time with their Pit Crew (leaders) in a small group doing activities that reinforce what they’ve learned. They’ll also have a great time as they squeal their tires in the gym and tank-up on snacks. It’s a “gotta be there” good time. Click HERE For more info!
Wee Worship (Wednesday Evenings)
Here at Lewisville, we believe God loves to hear His children sing! So if you’re a kid in Kindergarten to Grade 4, why not come join us to learn awesome music and have fun with friends? We’ll be singing at our morning fellowship services from time to time and sometimes at SPEEDWAY as well. You don’t have to be the best singer, just someone who wants to learn and have FUN! Boomtown, Boomtown Crosswalk, Highway 34 and Main Street (Sunday Mornings)
Sunday mornings during our morning worship service, Kidsville is abuzz with fun! Bible stories, songs, games, crafts – you name it, we’ve got it! Whether your child is a brand new baby, a Grade 4 veteran or anything in between, there’s a place for you in Kidsville! Click HERE for more info!

Life Groups
We have a men’s group (Thursdays at 8pm) and a ladies’ group (Tuesdays at 7pm) that meet weekly through the year (September – May) to laugh together, share together, learn together and be together. No matter your age or where you are on your faith journey – even if you just have some questions – one of these groups would be a great spot for you! Breakaway
If you’re too old to call yourself a “youth” or “young adult” but you’re not quite an admitted senior citizen yet, Breakaway is for you! This group of fun-loving adults meets 3 to 4 times per year to hang out together, have some fun and even take on some projects together to make the world a better place. Sunday Morning Services
We strive to make everyone who walks through our doors feel welcome at Lewisville. We have a laid-back and friendly style. We’re not worried about the way you’re dressed. You may also hear a music style closer to your radio than you might expect. Watch our big screen for the words and join in! You’ll also hear from a pastor who speaks your language, and who’s not afraid to wrestle with the tough questions that matter to you. What can you expect when you visit Lewisville? Not what you’d expect! Give it a try at 9:30am on Sunday mornings throughout the summer, then moving to 10:30am starting September 11, 2011.
