Attention university students! Do you want a home-away-from-home while you’re at school? Sign up for our Adopt-A-Student program! You will be paired with a couple or family from Lewisville who will be there for you while you are at school. Sign up sheets for both hosts and students will be available at Connections Corner.

Food Drive – October 18

Join us on Sunday, October 18th, for a food drive to benefit the Christian Food Bank. The Square One Young Adult class is heading it up, and they are looking for volunteers from the church family to join them, from 1:30-3:30pm. If you are interested in participating, please speak to Pastor Brent.

Do you have questions about this whole Church/God thing?

Does God really exist? Does He really care about me? Does He really answer prayer? What does it mean to call yourself a Christian?

You’re not alone.

Starting on Thursday, April 16th at 6pm, Lloyd and Maria Taylor will be running an “H2O” group (modeled after the popular Alpha program). It’s a weekly gathering of seekers looking to journey together through life’s big questions. Once a week we’ll share a meal together, watch an episode of the H2O series and have a chance to discuss our questions in a safe and non-threatening environment. If you’re interested, sign up at Connections Corner and get ready to bring your questions and your appetite!

As has become somewhat of a tradition for us, a condensed version of The Spot will be held on New Year’s Eve (Jan. 31), 7pm at Lewisville Baptist Church. Come join us for a shorter and earlier worship time before heading off to your New Year’s festivities. It’s a great opportunity to stop amid the holiday chaos and offer thanks and praise to God for the year’s blessings. Hope to see you there!

Get ready to party! WildSide’s Christmas party is happening tomorrow night, Friday, December 5 at 6 pm. We will be celebrating the Christmas season with a pizza and bowling party at Bowlarama (476 Gauvin Road in Dieppe).
