Are YOU a kid in Kindergarten to Grade 5? This summer, June 25th-29th from 9am to noon, you can join the team at Superstar Studios in search of the Next Big Thing!

The world’s biggest talent scout is looking for a new act, and he needs YOUR help to find it! Become an honourary talent scout for the week, and help us research what makes someone a superstar. We just might find out some surprises when we look into the Bible and find out how Jesus turns fame inside-out! There’ll be music, crafts, games, Bible stories from some zany characters, snacks and every kind of fun you can imagine!

Wee Worship Presents “Camp Wallaballa”

Our Wee Worship kids have been working hard over the last few months, and now they’re ready to present their mini-musical at our Speedway Finish Line celebration on Wednesday, May 2nd!

Camp Wallaballa is a fun musical about a group of children going to church camp. On the way to camp, they are sidetracked because the bus breaks down, but during this “speedbump” on the road, they learn some of God’s promises.

Come celebrate our closing night with Speedway & Wee Worship on Wednesday, May 2nd at 6:30pm! This is a family & friends event! The kids will all be receiving medals, there will be some special awards and the Speedway kids will be performing one of their favorite songs from the year. There will also be some replays from the year for you to see!

Featuring a family-friendly kids musical production by our own Wee Worship Choir, entitled “Camp Wallaballa“.

Of course there always have to be refreshments after a race….. so you’ll be able to refuel before you head home.

Can’t wait to see you at the Finish Line! Come cheer the kids on as they make their final lap!

Speedway Family Dinner 2012

We’re taking care of everything!

Immediate families of our Speedway kids are invited to join us for a Family Dinner! On Wednesday, April 2th from 6:30-8pm we’ll be sitting around the table together for a spaghetti dinner – on us! There’ll be some fun activities, some words of wisdom and encouragement from mom of 10 kids, Margot Bandy, and of course, plenty of great family time spent at the dinner table! Don’t miss it!

PlayZone 4th Birthday Party

We’re growing up! Come celebrate our 4th birthday with us at Play Zone on Tuesday, April 24th, 10am-noon!

As always, kids 0-5 and their caregivers are welcome. Lunch & cake will be provided free of charge.

Play Zone Teddy Bear Picnic

We are having a “Teddy Bears Picnic” theme this Tuesday, March 22nd, at Play Zone from 10am to noon. Bring your friends and your favourite teddy bears. We’ll have some” beary” special stories, crafts and games! See you there!

Family & Friend Night at the Movies

Speedway invites you to Family & Friend Night at the Movies on Wednesday, December 9th from 6:30-8pm. We will be viewing Veggie Tales newest release, “Saint Nicholas: A Story of Joyful Giving”. Bring the whole family and some friends too. Kids come in their jammies (adults can too if they want!) Have fun with popcorn, and games! This event is for all kids and their families…so please come even if you’re not connected with Speedway. Be our guest!

“The Great Gift Exchange”

Join us on Sunday, December 20th at 6:30pm for a Christmas Musical production by our very own Wee Worship kids choir. All the kids from all of our kids’ programs will be starring in this production! It’s a ‘gotta be there’ family and friends event. Come out and support our kids. Experience the joy of giving by bringing an unwrapped toy to place under the tree for the New Life Mission to give to a low-income child in our city.

Harvest Hoe Down – October 28th

Hey Kids!!! We’re not horsing around! It’s gonna be a down on the farm great time at Speedway on Wednesday, October 28th from 6:30-8pm at the Harvest Hoe Down Party. Don’t be a chicken; come dressed up as anything you might see on the farm! It’s for all kids from Kindergarten to Grade 4. You’re welcome even if you’ve never been to Speedway. We’d love to have “ewe”. It’ll be a lot of fun “squashed” into one night so make sure you “turnip”. There will be one outside activity (weather dependent) so bring a warm jacket!
