Square One Sports Night
Square One will be meeting on Wednesday, April 11th at 9:30pm for a Sports Night in the gym.  Any post high school young adults are welcome to join them!

Lewisville 101 Membership Class
If you are interested in participating in our Lewisville 101 Membership Class, please sign up on your Connections Tab or at Connections Corner.  We will be holding a membership class the last Tuesday of every month at Dale Somers’ home (5 Warner Lane).  Our next class will be on Tuesday, April 24th at 6:30pm.

College & University Grad Sunday
University Grad Sunday this year will be Sunday, April 29th.  Do you know a college or university graduate that you would like to see recognized in the service?  Use the Connections Card in your bulletin to share their name, degree/program and school information with us and drop it in the offering plate.  You can also call the church office during the week.  We don’t want to miss anyone.

Next Steps—Baptism & Child Dedication
If you’re looking to take some “next steps” here at Lewisville, we have a few opportunities coming up!  If you would like to be baptized, there’ll be an opportunity coming up in the very near future.  Pastor Gord would love to hear about your plans to take this exciting step, so be sure and let him know. HOWEVER:  Don’t forget to fill out a Connections Card in your bulletin (or grab one at Connections Corner) to let us know you’re interested and provide a way to contact you!  Just drop it in the offering plate or leave it with a Connections Team member.

We’re also going to be having a child dedication in our Mother’s Day service (May 13th).  If you’ve got a little one who you’d like to dedicate before God and your church family, or even if you’d just like a little more info about the process, we’d love to hear from you!  Please fill out a Connections Card in your bulletin (or at Connections Corner) with your name and contact info and we’ll be in touch!

Square One Service Opportunity
Coming up on Wednesday, April 25th is the Speedway Family Dinner.  In an effort to keep costs down, Square One will be providing the dinner for these kids and their families.  Any post-high school young adults willing to help cook & serve on that evening, please speak to Pastor Rene.

Bible Adventure Camp 2012
Our Morning Bible Adventure Camp Team is up and running, and we are excited for what lies ahead!  Once again we are creating our own theme and writing our own curriculum.  We will start leaking details soon!  Mark June 25th–29th, 9 am to 12 noon on your calendars because this is when it’s going to be happening and you won’t want to miss out on the fun and adventure!  This is a ministry to our community kids and families that requires a lot of volunteers with “Here to Serve” hearts.  We would love to have your help!  There are a variety of ways to get  involved, so please speak to or email Diane.

Here are a few items that we need.  We will be updating and adding to this list so keep checking for items you may be able to donate.

Granola Bar and Cereal Boxes (or boxes similar in size)
Bags of Elastics
Rope lights
Chasing Christmas lights (rope or bulb)
Large sheets of Styrofoam

CBM Prayerline
CBM Prayerline is the replacement for the former monthly Direct Link Prayer Network which highlighted the prayer requests and praise items from the various CBM Global Field Staff.  Prayerline has taken on a different format and is now a weekly newsletter.  See the Missions bulletin board for the latest editions.
