Single Mom Spa Day Postponed
Due to the weather yesterday we made the decision to postpone the spa day until later in March when the weather might be more cooperative.  All volunteers, please stay tuned for the new date as we will still need your help.  Contact Andrea Woodworth for more information.

Furniture Needed
A family in our area is in need of a small chest of drawers and a double mattress.  If you are able to help with either of these items, please contact the office.

Lewisville 101 Membership Class
If you are interested in participating in our Lewisville 101 Membership Class, please sign up on your Connections Tab or at Connections Corner.  We will be holding a membership class the last Tuesday of every month at Dale   Somers’ home (5 Warner Lane).  Our next class will be on Tuesday, February 28th at 6:30pm.

Square One Sports Night
Square One will be meeting on Thursday, March 1st at 8pm for a sports night in the gym.  Any post high school young adults are welcome to join them!

Sunday School Next Week
Next Sunday, March 4th, there will be no Sunday School as it is the start of March Break.  Classes will resume on March 11th.

ABW Meeting Notice
The next ABW meeting will be on Monday, March 19th.  Laura Lee Bustin will be with us as our special guest, speaking about their work in Indonesia and their future plans for Rwanda.  For this special event we will be serving brunch starting at 11:30am.  As always, all ladies are welcome to attend.

Newcomer & New Member Lunch
On Sunday, March 25th at 12pm (after morning service) the Connections Team will be hosting a lunch for newcomers and new members here at Lewisville.  If you’re new around these parts or you’ve recently become a new member, this if for YOU!  On the other hand, if you’ve been around for a while we would love to have you there to welcome and get to know some folks—new and old!  Please sign up today, or for more information please contact the church office.

Summer Employment Opportunity

Can You Help CBM?
We’re asking for your help…one of our Global Field Staff (missionary) families will be in Canada this summer and is looking for housing in the Moncton/Fredericton/St. John areas.  This family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children ages 5-13, 2 girls, 1 boy) needs housing in the following areas while here in Canada and speaking in local churches:

• In the Moncton area May 10-21
• In the Fredericton/St. John area July 1-23

 
If you, or someone you know, will be away at the cottage or on vacation and would appreciate having someone “house-sit” this could be a great arrangement.  Please contact Barb at CBM (905-821-3533 x.122) for more information or to discuss an option you may be able to propose.
