Send A Kid to Camp
One of our “Here to Serve” opportunities at Lewisville has traditionally been helping kids access the great stuff Camp Wildwood has to offer—this year is no different! If you would like to support our camp and give a child who needs it some help to get there then make a donation via the offering and designate it “Camp Wildwood Sponsorship Program”. Thanks for your support!
Thank You
Dear Family in Christ: Our family wants you to know how very much we appreciate your display of Christian love, as shown in your acceptance, instruction, ministry and servanthood, demonstrated in the baptismal service for our daughters Jessyca and Vanessa this past Sunday. The fellowship of believers at Lewisville has been a wonderful blessing to our family. Thank-you to all who made the event so special!
Bob and Kathy Williamson
Partner-In-Mission Updates
Check out the bulletin board in the hallway for recent updates by our Partners-In-Mission.
New Life Mission Needs Our Help!
Looking for a way to help? New Life Mission wants you! We are looking for people to partner with us by saving their recyclables and donating them to the Mission. This would help us to provide snack items for our children. If you are willing to serve in this area, please contact the Mission at 859-4277.
Helpers Needed for Young Adult Ministries
Our Young Adult Ministries are in need of helpers wanting to be involved in sports events this summer. Please clarify when you are available (e.g. Tuesday evenings, Thursday at lunch, etc.)
Our Young Adult Ministries are looking for couples willing to host or help coordinate activities in their homes or neighbourhoods. This summer we will be continuing to go into our local community and be involved in the lives of its families. We’d love to come to your neighbourhood and hold an activity (block party, ball hockey game, kite flying day, etc.) and build relationships with our (your) neighbours, but we need folks to host us, or at least be the link in the neighbourhood.
Please contact Pastor Rene to discuss further.

Solidarity Sunday & Parntner-In-Mission Visit
Every year we take part in CBM’s Solidarity Sunday, and this year all funds raised will be going to help support leaders who are working for positive change in Kenya. CBM has a goal of raising $100,000 to support the next generation of emerging leaders in Africa. On Sunday, June 26th, please bring your donations for Solidarity Sunday (suggested donation of $5). More information is available on the CBM website, www.cbmin.org. Our Partners-In-Mission who have been serving in Nairobi, Kenya will also be with us that morning to say goodbye as they finish up their season of ministry with CBM.
Calling All Members of The Sunnyville Crowd!
Sunny Brae Baptist Church is celebrating its 90th birthday this year, and as part of the celebration they are hoping for an appearance of The Sunnyville Crowd choir on Sunday, September 11th at 7pm. They need our help in locating any former members of that youth choir from the late 60′s. If you are interested and/or can help locate any former members, please contact DJ Moore (who just happens to be that old and a former member!)
