January Connect
The January edition of CONNECT will be available on January 10th. Please submit all articles to Sunny at connect@lewisvillebaptistchurch.com by next week, January 3rd.

Policy on Income Tax Receipts
Article IX of our Church Constitution states: “The fiscal year of the Church shall begin the first day of January and close on the last day of December. Any monetary donation must be received by, or if mailed, postmarked by December 31st to be eligible for an income tax receipt dated for that year.”

A Favour From Parents
We all love watching kids explore the world around them and try new things, and we hope to foster such growth here. In that vein, however, we do need to ask that parents and caregivers at Lewisville join us in making the stage area (and the instruments and equipment found there) and sound desk at the back of the auditorium off limits to little hands and feet. As cute as it can be, some folks who participate in the services come with their own equipment, and during the Christmas season we have various pieces of rented equipment around as well. We know you’ll want to join us in our efforts to respect others’ private property. Thanks so much!

When the Weather Outside is Frightful
Wake up to a winter wonderland on a Sunday morning?  If the snow is falling then you best be calling yoo-hoo…and by yoo-hoo we mean the church office or website!  For up to the minute information on possible service cancellations, there will be an announcement on the church phone line (853-7552) and website (www.lewisvillebaptistchurch.com) at or before 8:30am the morning of the snow event.  Please be sure and check online or call the church before venturing out in a Sunday morning storm!

Financial update
In order for all obligations to be met by year end, we need to receive $32,000 before year end. Please prayerfully consider what God would have you do to help us meet this objective.

KIDSVILLE

Childcare and Programming
There is no children’s programming this week for any age group. However, there are activity packs available for the kids on the connection table at the back of the gym that you are able to pick up.
The meeting room is open and set up as an area that is available to  parents to go with there child if needed.  We have a live feed so you won’t miss a single part of the service!

Children’s programs will return on January 3rd, 2010.
